New Zealand Music Month: free music

nzmm-logo1

So, as I lay awake last night wondering if the NZ cricketers could dig themselves out of this present hole (this morning told me they couldn’t) I figured I’d like to mark the remaining few days of NZ Music month with something nice.

March was an incredibly creative month for me. I wrote a bunch of songs, recorded them and some others that had lain dormant for too long. I’ve been getting better at demoing songs and I think this is some of my best work.

So I want you to have it, for free. Seriously.

I especially like the song ‘Wont you come home?’ which centres on the Prodigal Son after he’s made it home, and now that he’s wishing his big brother would come in and join the welcome home party. It gets me every time.

Hope you love them, I do.

Thanks so much Malcolm for your generous sharing. I loved this song “Won’t you come home” when you sung it at South Island Ministry Conference. I always felt for the brother ….. Bought your Into the Deep CD, listened to the CD while at another conference in Wellington and thought – where was that song about the brother? Yay thanks for sharing.

    • The trouble was it was only written this year, when the album was already being pressed! So standby for the album version 🙂
