I wrote this song during my time as minister at St Paul’s in Katikati. It was an all age communion service, and I couldn’t find an opening song that linked all of these threads with Psalm 65, so I wrote this. The joyful simplicity of God’s invitation to not only all people, but all creation is a good reminder for those of us who can get caught thinking the world revolves around us. Psalm 65 proclaims that all creation is responding to God’s goodness with bounty and abundant life of its own, (and maybe we humans are late to the party!)
