What does it mean for us to encounter God in our time and place? Artists and creatives have been seeking to answer this question throughout the ages, helping the people of faith to encounter God in their own backyard, from stain glass windows to the standing stones of the Celts. This book is the latest offering in this great tradition.

This project has started with the finest biblical scholarship in Aotearoa New Zealand, and then let artists, poets and musicians respond in creative ways. It is a living conversation with a living God, one you can be part of as well. Drawing on the offerings of over 30 artists, this collection marks another step for the New Zealand church, as we find our voice in celebrating and witnessing to Immanuel, God with us.
