I was intrigued by the notion of the rejected stone becoming something vital in the building. Who saw the potential of what it could become?
The vineyard tenants rejected everyone the owner sent, even killing the owner’s son. They wouldn’t or couldn’t see what was before them.My image has both the imperfect stone and the finished stone which has been chiseled and chipped into something useful and important.
Something beautiful can be made from something that is overlooked at first. The crosses represent the transformational journey.
