Beneath the Southern Cross

Malcolm Gordon – Beneath the Southern Cross from The Media Clinic on Vimeo.

We’re so excited to share with you the brand new music video for this wonderful new song, ‘Beneath the Southern Cross’. This song celebrates the diversity and richness of the Presbyterian Church here in New Zealand, and the heritage of the story that we are a part of. It is our gift to the wider Church to give thanks for 200 years of the Gospel in Aotearoa.

If you’d like to download the video and share it in your church service, you can do that here. If you’d like to purchase the song, you can do that here. A lead sheet is available here. Beneath the Southern Cross LS

Special thanks to CJ Chorale, the people of St Columba Presbyterian, Matt Chapman, Ferdi and Dave at The Media Clinic and all the wonderfully creative people who helped make this happen. May you know the gift of Christ at this time, even here at the ends of the earth. We are not beyond the reach of God.

  • Wow! Your song for the bicentenary of the gospel in Aotearoa is absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much. Is there any way of purchasing the sheet music / band arrangement, or even just the keyboard and vocal parts? I am Bishop of the Lutheran Church of NZ and have done everything I can to encourage our people to celebrate God’s gift to this land of His gospel. I’d love to share this with our people during our Convention next year in Whanganui if possible. Could you please let me know how I can buy this music?

    Blessings; nga mihi …
