Worship resources from Assembly Week 14
Here are some of the songs and resources we used at Assembly and some sheet music and chord charts so you can make them happen at your place. Many of them were written just prior to Assembly so the resources are still coming together.
The theme song of the weekend was, ‘Beneath the Southern Cross’ (written by Cate Burton and Malcolm Gordon) – you can download the leadsheet here:
Beneath the Southern Cross LS
(Please note a recording of this song is coming).
Colin Gibson’s hymn, ‘The God of our Forefathers praise’ was used as part of our opening worship: The God of our forefathers praise (SCORE)
We also used ‘Lord of the Harvest’ based on Luke 10 by Tessa Macaulay, Zoe Henderson and Sophie Macaulay. Here’s the chord chart: Lord of the Harvest (1)
A recording and a lead sheet are en route.
Each day we sang, ‘Open our eyes’ by Katie Lee and Zoe Henderson as a prayer of illumination and surrender.
