Big changes
Some of you may have heard tell of changes afoot – most of you wont have, because there hasn’t seemed a good time to announce it.
For much of this year, we have struggled with our place in parish ministry and the calling and gifting we sense to some sort of music ministry. It really put us in a tale spin for a long time while we grappled with the ramifications of leaving a settled life, a faith community we love, and a home we find much joy and peace in.
2 months ago we announced our resignation from St Paul’s and last Sunday (the 22nd) was our last. Today we fly south for a few weeks break with family and friends – then I start 2 months of study leave, looking into spiritual disciplines and contemplative Christianity. Looks like we’ll be recording the new record in mid-September with pre-production in late August.
After this – we have almost no idea what will come next. At this stage we’re planning on being home for Christmas for the first time in 5 years – and then the diary is terrifyingly empty.
If you’re the praying type – mention us please!
This song by Future of Forestry is helping guide me through the chaos at the moment. Enjoy.

Prayers ascend for you three, and for those on either side of your flight.
